Auditory capabilities in older patients show improvement within six months, with statistically significant enhancements observed by twelve months. While current findings indicate progress, prospective studies are necessary to provide more definitive evidence. These initial results support continued analysis and are expected to significantly contribute to discussions regarding cochlear implantation for older individuals.
